The school day for all MCS students is 9:00 to 3:00

Kindergarten and Pre-K
Multi-age program serving children kindergarten and Pre-K. Individualized curriculum emphasizing thorough understanding of skills, rich use of creative and performing arts, outdoor and physical education, and connections to the Missoula community. Enrollment Monday - Friday or M-W-F.
The Community School also offers extended care before (7:45 - 9:00) and after (3:00 - 5:30) the school day.

Pre-K  is an excellent option for children who miss the kindergarten birthday cut-off and for those children who are waiting an additional year to begin kindergarten.  Curriculum is tailored to be appropriate to the interests, development and skills of each child.

Early Childhood
Creative, community-oriented program for pre-school aged children (3 and 4 years old). Children must be 3 by 9/30 of the school year enrolling. Early Childhood students may be enrolled on full-week (Mon. – Fri.) or part-week schedules (Mon/Wed/Fri or TTH.)

Summer Programs for children ages 3 - 8 available on a weekly basis Monday - Friday from mid-June to mid-August.
